The Moment that you, as an act of faith, receive Jesus Christ into your life to be your Lord and Savior, He came in. This is what He promises in John 10:9... "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture." Also in John 6:37... "The one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out."

Ask yourself these 3 questions:

Have you received Christ into your life in this way?

If so, where is Jesus Christ right now in relation to you?

On the basis of John 10:9, how do you know that Christ is in your life?

Now that you have received Jesus Christ into your life, you have established a personal relationship with Him. You have now become a true Christian. You do not become a Christian by living a good life or by being born into a Christian family. The word "Christian" means "Christ in one"- Christ living in you. The Bible tells us that many things happen when Christ comes to live in you.
