Night at the Theatre
Here’s an opportunity for high schoolers to see a play that will entertain, challenge beliefs, and see a new perspective on good vs. evil.
"The Screwtape Letters" is a thought-provoking play based on C.S. Lewis’ famous book about the spiritual realm between angels and demons and the war for human souls. This play invites us to see the battle from the evil side’s point of view as a well-seasoned demon, Screwtape, trains up a beginner demon, Wormwood, on how to target humans.it
This special evening takes place on Sunday, October 8th from 5:30-10:00pm. The cost is $33 per student, which includes transportation. We will meet at our Philly parking lot (4195 Pipeline Ave., Chino, 91710) for pick-up/drop-off and carpool to the Irvine Barclay Theatre from there. The duration of the play is 90 minutes. Please bring money for dinner after the play. We hope this play will spark critical questions and conversations that we can discuss together and explore the themes from this play.
