Beginning Guitar Class
Do you have an interest in learning how to play the guitar? Come and be a part of our Beginning Guitar Class! This class is open to those who regularly attend CCCV who want to learn how to play guitar and use their skill to serve the Lord.
Beginning Guitar Class is open to adults and kids 11 years old and up. It will take place in the Banquet Hall on Sundays from 1:00pm to 2:00pm from August 31st through October 5th. The cost is $50 per student.
Our purpose is to give students a foundational knowledge of the guitar while focusing on worship in an environment that is welcoming and encouraging.
Requirements
- Students must provide their own acoustic guitar
- Students must provide their own tuner (Clip-on or mobile app)
- Students are responsible for their lesson binders
- Students must come to class prepared to learn
- Students must be at least 11 years old
- Students must commit to attending at least 5 out of the 6 classes

Week 1: Sunday, August 31st – Guitar Basics
Week 2: Sunday, September 7th – Building Chords
Week 3: Sunday, September 14th – Worship Songs (Kids)
Week 4: Sunday, September 21st – Worship Songs (Kids)
Week 5: Sunday, September 28th – Worship Songs (Adults)
Week 6: Sunday, October 5th – Final Class
