First Responders Ministry

This ministry is for all active or retired First Responders, including Law Enforcement, Fire, Military/Veterans, Corrections, Ambulance Personnel, Dispatchers, Chaplains, Spouses, Emergency Medical Service, Nurses, and all who work in public safety or who respond to emergency situations.

We will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 7pm to discuss the issues we consistently face, and provide a biblical response on these topics. Staying grounded in the Word of God and having fellowship with other believers who are dealing with the same issues are keys to surviving these professions and the difficulties that come with them.

First Responders deal with trauma, stress, and emotionally draining circumstances on a daily basis. They encounter situations the average person may never see or experience. The stress of the job and the long hours take a toll on them, their marriages, their families, and their overall mental health. Post-traumatic stress, depression, suicide, addiction, and alcoholism are a reality for many First Responders. Retaining some semblance of sanity and a strong Christian walk is a challenge for many of them.
