Food for Life

We believe the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35-36, 40 - “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”

We are taking the opportunity to encourage our high school students to serve our community by partnering with the Food for Life ministry located in our city of Chino. A small group of us will meet on our church campus on Saturday, December 2nd from 8:15am – 1:30pm and carpool to the Food for Life ministry facility. We will bag, sort, organize, and transport food for those who are in need. There is no cost for this event but please bring money for lunch at Chick-fil-A. Transportation to and from Food for Life will be provided. Spots are limited, so sign up today!

If you would like to donate any food items to Food for Life Ministry, we are collecting the following nonperishables:

• Rice – 1 lb bags
• Beans – 1 lb bags
• Pasta – 1 lb bags
• Cereal – 17oz – 24oz
• Snack Bars

• Canned Soup
• Spaghetti Sauce (no glass please)
• Pancake Mix
• Peanut Butter
• Canned Fruit – 15 oz
• Coffee – 1 lb.
• Flour / Sugar – 1 lb.
• Can of Meat (tuna, chicken, spam)
• Boxed Meals (Hamburger Helper, etc.)

Please drop off donations to the High School room upstairs in the 300bldg on Sundays or Wednesdays before or after services. These may also be dropped off at the front desk during office hours (Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm)
